I think there should be a further way to separate coaches' profiles. I've seen other sites use beginner, intermediate, and professional coaching designations that are categorized before entering the list of coaches. something I didn't like about gamersrdy was that there was really no obvious incentive for potential students to purchase more expensive coaching. The achievement badges are a great start and a good way to separate profiles, but I don't think it's enough. I don't want to be listed next to coaches who don't coach at the professional level like I do, while they undercut my price. Some sort of designation to show who the professionals are, whether that's a verification badge, separate category, etc. I think would be essential to not only keeping value high for coaches who charge more due to the higher experience and level of coaching, but also is a good way for a prospective student to visualize the differences in levels of price/skill ratio.
otherwise, someone coming on the site will have no reason to spend more on a session for a higher level coach, if they don't visually see a big difference between the less experienced coach charging $20/hour, vs. a professional charging $50/hr.
Even something simple, like a verified badge/checkmark to denote a professional, would go a long way to help, and is a very objective implementation.

The answer is staring you in the face... Let the people who you coach leave reviews/feedback on your profile for the public to see.
Simple. If you think you are better than the rest put your money where your mouth is and prove it by being the best.
Most SaaS service provides ethicaldo this well in 2022 with a review system 1-5 stars. Better coaches clearly have higher ratings. Don't think we need to over complicatproviderse this.
The only thing Metafy will face is with a gamified expert experience is what ehtical ethical monitoring can be implemented to make sure reviews are legit and not a heavily influenced review by the coach.

I strongly disagree with this. This would basically force Metafy to classify coaches.
It would give potential customers the feeling that if they get a "Amateur" Coach instead of a "Professional" Coach they are wasting their money. Also, who is to say who deserves a verified checkmark/pro tag? Should Metafy sit in on every coaches session and grade them on their performance? I think Metafy should be a website where ALL coaches are worth purchasing, and ALL coaches meet the high standards that Metafy has. Metafy shouldn't become like fiverr, where you have trash budget coaches and "expensive" pro coaches. If a coach isn't great at what they do, they shouldnt be on Metafy. And in return, every coach that is allowed to offer their services on Metafy, should be worth peoples money.
It's on us to convince customers that our price is justified. Customers dont just buy the cheapest coaching. Quite the opposite from my experience, I've literally had people buy my coaching because it was the most expensive around. "If someone only asks 10$ an hour I don't trust the quality of their service". It's a balance, that's how the market works, theres a place for high cost services, and low cost services. The issue isn't that coaches need to be arbitrarily classified as "pro" or "amateur" ,the issue is that coaches need to be vetted before they can even get on the website. The coaches who think their service is better quality than that of their competitors can price their services accordingly, but then its also on them to actually prove to potential customers why their service is worth so much more than the cheaper coaching from someone else. Metafy shouldn't become a cesspool of coaches, it should become a website where people can browse a curated list of highly qualified coaches offering their services, with offerings for all sorts of budgets.

Metafy please consider doing this. It makes the customer experience better. Especially when they are booking their first ever coaching session.

Love this idea, we're currently thinking more through how we can help coaches differentiate themselves on game pages. Will share updates as we go!

I like this a lot. I would use something like 'MetafyPRO'
